Access Control Systems in Dubai

Decide who opens which door and when, with face, fingerprint, card or phone, and see every entry in one log.

Keys get copied, lost and handed on. An access control system replaces them with credentials you can add or cancel in seconds, and records who came through each door.

We supply and install single-door units for a clinic or office, through to networked systems that manage many doors, floors and user groups from one software dashboard.

What's included

Readers to suit the door

Face recognition, fingerprint, RFID card or PIN, chosen for how busy the entrance is and who uses it.

Electric locks

Magnetic locks, electric strikes and drop bolts matched to glass, timber or metal doors.

Exit and emergency release

Request-to-exit buttons, break-glass units and a link to the fire alarm so doors release when they should.

User groups and schedules

Staff, cleaners and visitors get access only to the doors and hours they need.

Entry logs and reports

A searchable record of who entered where and when, exportable for HR or security.

CCTV integration

Link doors to nearby cameras so an entry event can be checked against footage.

Suitable for

  • Offices
  • Clinics and pharmacies
  • Schools and nurseries

  • Gyms

Things to consider in Dubai

Fire safety comes first

Doors on escape routes need to release automatically when the fire alarm activates. We plan the lock type and fire-alarm interface around this from the start.

Plan for power cuts

A small battery backup keeps readers and locks working during a short outage, and lock type decides whether a door stays secure or opens when power is lost.

Frequently asked questions

Face recognition or fingerprint: which is better?

Face readers are touch-free and quick for busy entrances. Fingerprint readers cost less and work well for smaller teams. Many sites use cards for visitors alongside either one.

Can I control doors from my phone?

Yes. Many systems let you open a door remotely, add or remove users and view entry logs from an app.

Can you add access control to existing doors?

Usually, yes. We check the door, frame and power at the survey and choose a lock that fits without replacing the door.

One team for cameras, doors, gates and IT

Combine access control with CCTV and we will plan it as one system, with one point of contact.

No formal SIRA CCTV standard for a standalone home

SIRA's Preventive System Manual targets specific premises groups, and a standalone private home is not listed in the same way. Good practice still applies.

  • Point cameras at your own property, not neighbours
  • Check community or building rules before fixing cameras outside
  • Protect the recorder and app with strong passwords

Yes, major compounds are covered

Residential or office compounds, including buildings, towers and villa compounds, fall under the manual, so the system has to meet its standard for that premises type.

  • Colour cameras and recording of at least 1080p
  • A recorder backed by a UPS
  • An annual maintenance contract with a SIRA-registered company

Yes, these are listed as vital sectors

The bylaw lists categories such as banks, hotels, shopping malls, restaurants, gas stations and places of worship. Camera positions, views and recording retention are set by the manual.

  • Defined camera views, from wide monitoring to identification
  • Minimum retention, often 31 days and longer for some categories
  • Some features need SIRA approval, such as wireless links

It depends on the activity

Many businesses are not in the listed groups, but SIRA can designate other activities, and a unit inside a covered compound or mall follows that site’s rules. Tell us the activity and location and we will check what applies.
