Time Attendance Systems in Dubai

Face and fingerprint attendance terminals with software that turns clock-ins into clear, payroll-ready reports.

Paper sheets and shared cards make it easy to clock in for a colleague and hard to total hours at month end. Biometric terminals tie each punch to the person, and the software does the arithmetic.

We install the terminals, set up shifts, breaks and overtime rules, enrol your staff and show your HR or admin team how to pull reports.

What's included

Face or fingerprint terminals

Touch-free face readers for busy sites, or fingerprint units for smaller teams, with card or PIN as backup.

Shift and roster setup

Fixed, rotating and split shifts, grace periods, breaks and weekend rules set up to match how you work.

Overtime and lateness

Late arrivals, early leaves, absences and overtime calculated automatically.

Payroll-ready reports

Monthly summaries exported to Excel or your payroll software, ready for checking and processing.

Multiple branches

Terminals at several sites reporting to one system, so head office sees everyone in one place.

Door control option

The same terminal can open the staff entrance, combining attendance and access control.

Suitable for

  • Offices
  • Warehouses and logistics
  • Retail branches
  • Restaurants and cafés
  • Construction sites
  • Clinics

Things to consider in Dubai

Placement matters

Terminals work best at the staff entrance, out of direct sunlight and at a height everyone can use. Outdoor or site units need a weather-rated housing.

Staff data stays yours

Attendance records and biometric templates are personal data. We set up admin passwords and access so only authorised staff can view or export them.

Frequently asked questions

Does it work with our payroll software?

Most systems export to Excel or CSV, which most payroll tools can import. Tell us which software you use and we will confirm the format.

What if a fingerprint will not read?

Some people have worn or dry fingerprints. Face recognition, card or PIN can be enabled as an alternative for those users.

Can staff clock in on their phone?

Some systems offer mobile clock-in with location checks for field staff, used alongside the fixed terminals.

One team for cameras, doors, gates and IT

Combine time attendance with CCTV and we will plan it as one system, with one point of contact.

No formal SIRA CCTV standard for a standalone home

SIRA's Preventive System Manual targets specific premises groups, and a standalone private home is not listed in the same way. Good practice still applies.

  • Point cameras at your own property, not neighbours
  • Check community or building rules before fixing cameras outside
  • Protect the recorder and app with strong passwords

Yes, major compounds are covered

Residential or office compounds, including buildings, towers and villa compounds, fall under the manual, so the system has to meet its standard for that premises type.

  • Colour cameras and recording of at least 1080p
  • A recorder backed by a UPS
  • An annual maintenance contract with a SIRA-registered company

Yes, these are listed as vital sectors

The bylaw lists categories such as banks, hotels, shopping malls, restaurants, gas stations and places of worship. Camera positions, views and recording retention are set by the manual.

  • Defined camera views, from wide monitoring to identification
  • Minimum retention, often 31 days and longer for some categories
  • Some features need SIRA approval, such as wireless links

It depends on the activity

Many businesses are not in the listed groups, but SIRA can designate other activities, and a unit inside a covered compound or mall follows that site’s rules. Tell us the activity and location and we will check what applies.
